Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Hashed IP address (SHA-256, salted; we never store the raw IP).
- Hashed user agent (we never store the raw user agent string).
- Mode of analysis (text, image, or URL).
- The score returned, the dominant emotion, and the measurement status.
- The first 80 characters of submitted text; the page title for URL mode; or
image (<mime>)for image mode. - Your email address, if you choose to give it via the beta join modal or feedback widget.
- Feedback messages, if you submit one.
- Timestamp of the request.
What we do not collect
- Raw IP addresses.
- Raw user agent strings.
- Full image data after the score is computed.
- Tracking pixels.
- Advertising cookies.
- Third-party analytics scripts.
Why we collect it
To calibrate the engine — the 178,000+ scored items in our corpus are how we know the math is working. To enforce the beta caps. And to respond to feedback, if you gave us an email.
Who we share it with
Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and xAI receive only the text, URL-extracted text, or image needed for scoring. They do not receive your IP, email, or any identifier. We do not sell email lists or share emails with any third party.
How long we retain it
Beta usage rows are kept until beta closes, then anonymized to summary statistics. Emails are kept until you ask us to delete them. Feedback messages are kept indefinitely as engineering input.
Your rights
Email hello@adverb-labs.com to request deletion of your email address and any linked rows. CCPA and GDPR rights apply where you are protected by them.
Cookies
We use one functional cookie — the daily-cap counter. No third-party advertising cookies.
Children
Not for users under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use means acceptance. Significant changes will be flagged on this page.
